SYF opening ceremony 2008!
Yesterday was really good time with everyone!
Left school at 1.30pm and headed to Singapore Indoor Stadium as usual for the week. We were early, so we watched part of the rehearsel while waiting for the arrival of the other schools choir. Then we joined in the rehearsel for awhile. There's a lot of climbing up and down the stairs to get our props and all. Ate chicken burger for the 4th time ! Oh man haha. Then soon enough the 'real thing' starts!
I like the Drills most! esp the Singapore Red Cross Youth and the NCC one. haha the NCC dance/ Precision Drill was so cuuuuuute! Too bad i have yet to find out the title of the song that they danced to. isnt it cool? the parade was commanded by a female for the first time in syf opening =D! yeah choir was up for 3 different times with 6 songs. there were as many audiences as yesterday for the preview and i was rlly excited! i love the stage !
in between met friendly and funny people from other schools and we exchange numbers and all. then we give it our best for the performace YAYYY! We were also up for the finale =D the singer was er Shawn Tok. somebody who i dnt know hehe. but with our pom-poms we have lotsa funfunfun! it was grand too. haha and then everything was OVERRRRRR!
Everybody was so high and enthu. haha i'll miss the instructors! must thank Choir for giving me the chance to perform in front of so many audiences! This might be the first and last time when i got the chance to participate in SYF opening. So i shall lock the memories in my heart =) !
